Emcee Mr. Stewart encouraged the crowd to applaud for the latest achievements by culinary students at OHS.

Then he turned to the chefs in training and asked THE question…

Do you have any cooking tips?

One brave student answered, “If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.”

That response got a round of cheering from the stands filled with 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th graders.

In addition to kitchen distinctions, Stewart shined the spotlight on members of the robotics team, the programming team and seven honor societies including Rho Kappa.  But that’s not all. The National Merit Scholarship Finalist, the Sunshine State Scholar, the Academic Team, the Microsoft Master, artists and more were recognized.

The ukulele club appeared on tape to add musical talent to this first-of-its-kind academic celebration.
