Andrew Smith is a junior, but this is his first year in journalism. He was inspired by his father, who was also a staff writer for his high school newspaper. Andrew enjoys hanging out with friends, cooking, and messing around with power tools. In his freshman year, he obtained three different industrial certifications through a sister school that became its own school in the 2018-2019 school year. By the end of his high school career, he hopes to have a 3.5 GPA or higher.
