Rixton, an English band established in 2012, is most popular for its song “Me and My Broken Heart,” which was released March 27th of last year. I don’t normally listen to their music; I’m more of rap and hip hop kind of guy. The only songs I like are “Me and My Broken Heart” and “Hotel Ceiling”. Rixton is a four member band from Manchester England. The band mates names are Danny, Jake, Charley and Lewis. According to http://www.rixtonband.com/, they are playing back-up to big celebrity names, like Ed Sheeran, who they say is their mentor.

I do recommend this music to people who like or love hip hop music. Rixton is great band which brings a lot of energy into its songs, no matter what their songs are about.  Sad or happy, you always want to sing and smile.

My favorite song by Rixton is “Me and My Broken Heart.” I like this song for the upbeat pattern the meaningful lyrics. There are other songs by this band like “Hotel Ceiling” which is a depressing love song, and many others like these http://smarturl.it/LetTheRoad?iqid=gm.us.search.

Osceola has many Rixton fans. Jordan Waits, 10th grade, said, “I like their music. It’s the type of music you can see and dance to with your friends. My favorite song is ‘Me and My broken heart’”, she said.

Two other Warriors said they don’t like this type of music or aren’t fans of the band in general for multiple reasons.

Jon Fields, 12^th grade, said, “I don’t like this type of music. It’s horrible, and I’m not a fan because it’s not country. This type of music isn’t my cup of tea, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone because it’s not country,” he said.

Another senior said “I don’t like this music; just no,” Jordan Brady, 12^th grade, said. “I’m not a fan, because no, and wouldn’t recommend at all unless you want to go deaf,” he said.
