New artists rock their way to Tampa
For the first time, indie pop music and American rock music hits Tampa’s Mid-Florida Credit Union Amphitheater, courtesy of a few fresh artists.
November 9th, The Coastline Festival slams into Tampa, an event featuring the food truck extravaganza, drinks and music. Matt and Kim, St. Lucia, and Fritz, along with many more artists, will perform. Ticket prices are based on where you sit. If you sit on the lawn, the price is $4O, and if you sit up close, the ticket price goes up to $50-$75.
Jordan Waits, 9th grade, said, “I like Matt and Kim songs; I would listen to their music.”
Another freshman, who also listened to Matt and Kim’s free download also, disagreed. Trey Schulz, 9th grade, said, “The music was okay, but it’s not something I would listen to.”
After previewing a sample myself, I couldn’t take it for long. The music playing isn’t really my style; I don’t really like indie pop or rock music, I like rap, hip hop and some country music. Go to the link above, listen to the music and let me know what you think. Email me at [email protected].
