According to “Tips for exam prep”, the National Institutes of Health says that “taking short breaks from practice is a key to learning.” One-way students can do this is through the Pomodoro technique. This technique was created by Francisco Cirillo, and it includes setting a timer and working for 25-minutes, taking a 5-minute break, repeating the process 3 times, and then taking a 30-minute break.
Some students also provided tips on how they study. They gave examples such as “going through notes”, “using Quizlet” “watching videos”, “creating an environment where you can educate yourself” or even listening to music.
