As the days pass, the closer seniors at Osceola High school are to graduation. Graduation is an important part of a person’s life. It’s the result of all the hardship and accomplishment a student faces. According to the Pinellas County School Board website, at “Graduation/ Graduation Information”, graduation for Osceola Fundamental High will be on 5/30/2025 at 7:30 AM.

The location for the Osceola Fundamental High School Graduation will be The Baycare Sound Venue (255 Drew St, Clearwater, FL 33755). More detailed information on more schools can be found at “Graduation/ Graduation Information.”

Some students have different opinions about graduation being at the Sound.

For example, Madalyn Shimkus, an OFHS Warrior, said, ‘’I like it because I saw it being built, and I like how we are the first generation to graduate from there.” 

There are 416 students set to graduate this year in May. The Baycare Sound is an outside venue with seating for 4,000. All the seating is first come first served, and seats cannot be held or reserved. There is overflow seating available on the grass. Chairs are not prohibited at The Sound.

Some students have different opinions on the timing of graduation. Students like John Johnson said, “I hate how it’s so early.”

Madalyn Shimkus said, ‘’I understand the timing, but I don’t like that it’s so early in the morning. I would have to wake up so early.”

Another senior from OFHS, Sara Britt says, ”I am very happy we found a place to have our graduation ceremony. I like that its early in the morning because it won’t be that hot outside. And I get to have a nice brunch afterwards with family and friends”.

Theses seniors are ready to enjoy their last couple months getting ready for graduation. While enjoying their last memories at Osceola Fundamental High school.
