Osceola’s Warriors in culinary won 5th place at the ProStart competition in Orlando. Chef Long was extremely proud of the group, saying, “The business plan the girls took with them was the most viable and complete plan I have seen in my entire cooking career. The judges were astounded! I could tell no one in the place had witnessed the level that our students are at. In the feedback session, there was no feedback. Judges said they wouldn’t change a thing. When you scan the marketing flyer the girls took, it opens a complete website, with menu and contact page, and a pop-up ad. They had never seen anything like it and probably never will again.” He also said, “I’m still just wowed by what I witnessed. The judges tried to stump them and couldn’t. It was just so awesome to watch, and I couldn’t be more proud.” If you see these Warriors around, congratulate them for their awesome win, Chef Long encourages.
