This year, the week of February 19-23 is Scholastic Journalism week. This week aims to promote Journalism classes and celebrate the student journalists, as well as their teachers. Schools are encouraged to recognize the role journalism plays in fostering critical thinking, media literacy, and communication skills. As an added bonus, “Student Journalist” looks good on a resume as well.
