On Saturday, February 4th, several Warriors performed for District 9 solo and Ensemble Music Performance Assessments.Osceola came home with 6 Superior ratings and 4 Excellent ratings, and three performances received straight Superiors! Everyone received a Superior in at least one category. The performance scale utilizes musical criteria in three categories to assess the final score. Sheets are distributed to each student with specific feedback to improve their performance. Each student was required to prepare 2 solos to be performed with an accompanist. Mr. Campbell is very proud of these students and explains, “They have been practicing their solos for several weeks, and I want them to know how proud we are of them. Every student who participated deserves to be congratulated.”
