On Wednesday, March 18th, the senior breakfast took place in the school’s cafeteria. Along with enjoying some leisure time in the morning to hang out with friends, take pictures and sign each other’s yearbooks, the seniors also took their panoramic photos, received their caps and gowns, practiced walking for graduation, and then went outside to the P.E. field to enjoy the senior picnic.
Before practicing their walk and receiving their caps and gowns, the graduates watched a slideshow of their four years at Osceola. The slideshow featured pictures of all four years of high school, which includes spirit weeks, dances, and a tribute to Devin Chester, Osceola’s sports teams and clubs and candid photos of students at concerts and at the beach. There wasn’t a dry eye in the audience by the time it came to an end.
“I can’t believe it’s coming to an end,” said senior Kamalynn Goudy. “I’m really excited to graduate, but I’m going to miss so many people.”
“Everything just felt so final when I got my cap and gown,” continued Kamalynn. “Like it’s officially all over.”
The seniors graduate at Tropicana Field at 3:45 on June 2nd.
