Osceola students are now able to view their Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) results. In October, Osceola students took the PSAT. On the testing forms, students were asked to write down an email or contact information so that they could receive results via email as well as hard copies. Some students may have already received results via web or email and some have not. Students may have not received results because the information written on the PSAT forms was incorrect or not written clearly. Some students were not aware of this. “I had no idea you could’ve already gotten PSAT results,” said sophomore Austin Bennett. According to Guidance Counselor Mrs. McDaniel, students should go online and make a Kahn Academy account to work on improving scores. The website will create custom study tools and guides based on student scores. There is a guide on how to do so and view scores created by Ms. McDaniel on the school website. Hard copies of PSAT results will be passed out to students during the next two weeks. To improve scores, along with the custom study tools that the Kahn Academy website offers, students who have taken the PSAT are able to view a list of PSAT preparation and practice on the school website resources page. “I think PSAT results are important because they show you what you need to improve on,” said one sophomore.
