Reading your whole entire textbook the night before an EOC may not be the best way to prepare for these standardized tests, according to faculty and students.
Administrators advise students to “review all their work in that certain subject. Say that subject is math; you should review your notes, and old tests that are in your math notebook. You should also attend your teacher’s test review sessions after school,” said Mrs. Ouellet, assistant principal. Several websites such as Pearson Access and tn.gov provide practice tests for a variety of subjects including US history, geometry, algebra 1, biology 1 and civics.
“To prepare for EOC’s I always like to go to Panera and study with my friends,” said Sarah Files, 9th grade.
“The night before the end of course exam, get a goodnight sleep and in the morning eat a good breakfast,” said Mrs.Ouellet.
