It looks like next week’s spring break will be soggy. The gloomy forecast is upsetting some Warriors, including an OHS junior, who said he wants some sun, not rain.  “I want to go skim boarding at the beach, so I’ll be agitated if it’s rainy all next week.” There was a lot of rain the other day and some thunder occurred as well. According to baynews9.com, today’s weather is a high of 76 and a low of 60. Thursday has a high of 79 and a low of 63. Friday has a high of 82 and a low of 63 with a bit of clouds. Both Saturday and Sunday both look gloomy with Saturday having a high of 80 and a low of 64, and Sunday having a high of 78 and a low of 61 and a 20% chance of rain.

Another OHS Warrior, Clay Howard, 11th grade, said, “I’m going to be mad if it’s like this {rainy} next week, it will ruin my spring break.” Clay doesn’t want to be stuck inside all spring break and is hoping the rain will just blow over. Spring break week doesn’t look too promising for a beach week; according to weather.com, Monday through Friday looks a bit dingy. Monday is going to have scattered thunderstorms, Tuesday has a 50% chance of rain, Wednesday has a 20% chance of rain, Thursday doesn’t have a chance of rain but it will be mostly cloudy, and same goes for Friday with a 10% chance of rain. It will be pretty windy the week of spring break as well.
