School board getting social
As of February 24, the Pinellas County School Board is on Twitter in order to build up the communication between the students, parents and community and the school board. The district intends it to be a one-way communication tool to distribute news and information with “district wide impact.” That info contains district initiatives and important school and district events. “Any way to get more information out is a good thing,” said Mr. Bohnet, OHS Principal.
