Stickers warn of possible towing
Since there are no more spots in the student parking lot, many students haven’t been parking in their assigned spot.
“I know that there are no more spots, so if you’re not supposed to be parking in that spot, you will receive a sticker as a warning on your car,” said Mr. Bohnet’s secretary.
“After you get three warnings, your car will get towed if it still is in the wrong spot,” said Deputy Shorter. Students will receive a sticker on their car window as a warning.
Students will always be informed about warnings and will be notified during the school day if their car gets towed. “Since it’s the third warning, the students are already informed, and there will also be a phone call home to your parents to inform them as well,” said Shorter.
If a student’s car does get towed, the student will have to pick it up and pay for it themselves. “The average cost to pick up your car is $250,” said Deputy Shorter.
