Administration brings holiday cheer

OHS’s bookkeeping office is warming up for the holiday’s.

As the holidays rapidly approach the Osceola administration is looking to bring a little holiday cheer to the school. Around the office different doors are decorated with Christmas related themes, such as the one in bookkeeping. Michelle Smith, Osceola’s bookkeeper’s  door is decorated with a fireplace that has a fire going and Christmas stockings hanging above the fireplace. “Having a half door it just seemed easier,” Ms. Smith said. “And everyone needs a fireplace for Christmas.”

As for Tena Clarerhout, Osceola’s senior management of technologies, she thinks her two themes for her double door office should be a little more of a variety rather than just Christmas related. “I choose a snowman because I wanted to do something that wasn’t about just one holiday. I wanted something global,” Ms. Clarehout said. Her other door has reindeer on it and a little bin filled with “reindeer food”. “I really owe the credit to the T.A’s, they did all the work,” she said.

In the front office along with a beautiful Christmas tree standing fully decorated with gifts wrapped neatly underneath, there is red tinsel strung out on the counter with fake candy canes hanging on it.

“Christmas is my favorite holiday and when I see all the decorations around the office it puts me in the spirit,” said Janelle McCabe, 12th grade.
