Warriors highlight day with neon clothes
Osceola’s Spirit Week continues on the third day of the week, Neon Day. On this day, the Warriors get their bright colored clothes out, and bring a lighter and brighter shade to the classrooms and hallways. In a somewhat controversial change from last year, neon colored duct tape is no longer allowed.
Some students, such as Sydnee Peterman, 12th grade, made their own responses to that. She prominently wore a neon-pink bowtie in her hair, made of duct tape.
The reasons students have been wearing the neon clothes has been varied. For Sydnee, the reason was quite clear.
“It’s our last year, and we want to go all out,” she commented.
