Day of amateur cosplay
Today, the second day of the 2013 Spirit Week, warriors of all types dressed as many different characters (and even things) to celebrate Character day. Many characters were represented today: Napoleon Dynamite, Darth Vader, Superman, Robin, Batman, and even Jesus. One group even dressed up as hippies, complete with anti-war posters.
“Yeah, we love peace,” one of them, Stephanie Junor, a senior, said about it.
Sydney Allen, also a senior, decided to dress as Luigi from the Mario series, explaining: “Because it’s my senior year, and I decided to go all out.”
One more odd costume came in the form of Ke$ha, who Vanessa Chase, a junior, dressed as. “I didn’t have anything, and it was last minute and easy to do,” she commented.
