PMAC students make push for peace
Last week, students on PMAC, or the Principal’s Multicultural Advisory Committee, spread the word on the intercom and throughout classes about Peace Week, with Peace Day on September 21st. Lead by Mr. Pace, who runs PMAC, students Megan Johnson, 12th grade, and Bailey Bundy, 12th grade, were two of many students who sent messages of peace throughout the whole week, taking the initiative in the world peace movement. OHS students may have heard Mrs. Mowatt mention Peace Week on the intercom last week. This was just one of the tactics that PMAC used to try and influence others to celebrate Peace Week. Peace Day is recognized by the United Nations every September 21st.
