Seniors show school spirit with shirt sales
Homecoming shirt sales show that the seniors have the most school spirit. Through about two weeks of sales of the homecoming class t- shirts, the seniors are leading the way in sales with about one hundred shirts sold, according to Mr. Kontrick. “It’s between about a hundred and 110” Mr. Kontrick said, who is selling the senior homecoming shirts. The sophomores are second in sales as of Friday with “about 65 shirts” Mrs. Alvarez said, who is selling the sophomore homecoming shirts.
Pretty far behind are the juniors and the freshmen, who are both at about 35 shirts as of Friday. The junior class seller is Mrs. Schellhause, while the freshman class seller is Mrs. Nunn. Mrs. O’ Mara has also been helping out with shirt sales at lunch, when most of the shirts have been sold. The shirts could’ve also been purchased during lunch. Sales ended on September 23th.
The class shirt colors remained the same from last year. The freshmen class color is white, the sophomore class color is orange, the junior class color is blue, while the senior class color is black. According to Matt Minafo, 11th grade, “the seniors have the best homecoming shirts”. This is probably why the seniors have so many shirt sales.
The homecoming football game is on October 11th, with the homecoming dance the following day on the 12th.
