Students cram the hallways
If you feel that the hallways are more crowded than last year and you have a hard time getting to your locker, you are not alone. Getting to your class in time has become more of a struggle because the hallways are indeed more crowded than last year. Not by much though; there are 72 more people than last year. It seems as if the hallways have gotten smaller, having to squeeze your way through.
The freshmen and sophomores are overwhelming, with 467 students in both grades, which is significantly more than last year. If you haven’t noticed, the car line has gotten a lot longer and the student parking lot is harder to get out of because of more students being here. The total number of students this year is 1,768; last year the school had 1,696 students. There isn’t much to do about the crowded hallways but with all the new faces, it gives you more opportunities to make new friends.
The amount of seniors has also increased by 12 students. But 72 extra students may make it seem as if there is an extra student increase from last year. Another student said “I think the freshmen are overruling this school.”
