Monday, May 20, 2013, was the last “school Monday” for the students at Osceola. Next Monday is Memorial Day so there is no school for students. The Monday after that? Underclassmen tackle their exams and caps are tossed and screams are heard as the seniors from the class of 2013 walk across the stage, grab their diplomas, and officially end the high school chapter of their lives.
Megan Hill, 12th grade, said, “I’m so happy school’s almost out! Plus, I hate Mondays.” That was the last Monday for the coffee shop as well. They officially close Thursday the 30th of May.
