Some EOC’S have already taken place and there will be more coming, but on Friday the 31st exams will begin as well. EOC’s that many students will be taking are for classes like biology or geometry.
Ryan Koiser, 10th grade, said, “I have to take some EOC’s this year so I don’t have to take as many final exams which is good.” Students who have an EOC have no final exam for the class. Some students have started studtying for their end of the year tests.
Caroline King, 10th grade, said, “As soon as my teacher’s make study guides and any study materials accessible I start to work on them and I plan to review everything.” Studying for EOC’s and exams can be different; they may vary on studying difficulty. “To me so far the End of Course exams have been harder to study for because you don’t know exactly what to study like you do for exams.” Some students think that EOC’s are harder than exams and some think they are easier.
Ryan said, “People have told me that EOC’s are more difficult than exams so I’m hoping that they’re not.” But Caroline said, “I like EOC’s better because they are easier and are curved substantially but they can be annoying.” Although one or the other may be more difficult or easier generally students don’t really want to take any of the exams. Caroline said, “To be honest I don’t favor any of the exams because I really don’t want to take them! Who does?”
