During the month of April, FCAT testing will take place in the library. This is the first year that 9th and 10th grade students will be testing on computers, and in addition, they will take the test in three consecutive sessions throughout the whole day. The FCAT started Monday, the 15th, and will continue through the week of the 22nd. The FCAT is given to students in Florida; it can determine placement for your classes the following school year and is a graduation requirement. For frequently asked questions, such as why we are calling it FCAT 2.0 and how they come up with the testing schedule, you can refer to Florida department of education website for these questions and more.
