The Student Advisory Council board voted 7 to 1, and the new dress code was approved. The vote took place last night at the SAC meeting. February 19th the new dress code will be active.
Mrs. Jantscheck, the principal’s secretary, said, “You can wear warm up outfits, but no sweat pants, no yoga pants, and no jeggings or leggings, unless you’re wearing something over them like a long dress.”
Some students seem not to understand the decision made.
Danielle Willis, 10th grade, said, “I think it’s ridiculous; I don’t see anything wrong with sweat pants.”
Out of 10 students asked randomly this morning, none like the new dress code.
