This week Principal Mr.Bohnet sent out a phone call regarding threats of violence at schools on Friday. He said that rumors were noticed on social media, via Facebook, and one student was arrested in Tampa at Armwood High for making a joke of the situation. This morning, Assistant Principal Ms.Ouellet confirmed they are only rumors, but administrators will still take precautions, including possibly increasing police presence. “No rumors have been confirmed to date, but we can’t take a chance,” said Ouellet. This is being taken very seriously by the police and the superintendent of Pinellas County.
