The second blood drive of the year is Monday the 10th of December. Teenagers are one of the largest groups of people who donate blood. But some students are different and don’t like the idea of giving blood and seeing needles. Bianca Lafontaine, 11th grade, said, “I don’t like needles and it’s painful,” about why she chooses not to donate blood. Cristine Oganesova, 12th grade, said, “I’m too scared and I’ve never done it before.” Wilma from the coffee cart will also not be donating this year although she has “Donated before.” She can’t donate blood because she said, “it’s hard to get to my veins and I get bruises all down my arm.”
