The blood drive started on October 15th at 7:30 am. This year a senior participated in the blood drive for his first time in his four years of high school. “I’m a little nervous.” he said, “I have a terrible fear of needles.” Many other students will be participating this year along with him and “a bunch” of his friends are donating blood too, “they inspired me to donate blood,” he said.
Overall 119 people donated blood towards the blood drive and there will be two more blood drives here at OHS this school year.
