Hispanic students honored for achievement

On September 27th, 2012, St. Petersburg College recognized the top performing students of Pinellas County as a part of Hispanic Heritage celebration. The “Dr. Vilma Fernandez-Zalupski Academic Excellence Awards Ceremony” invited 258 students from schools such as Osceola, Seminole, Largo, and Pinellas Park. These students all had a 3.0 GPA or higher and had a Hispanic background.

Sofia Mayorga, Kasey Williams, and Ashly Gruskin were just a few of the Osceola students that received an award that night.
