Students and parents alike are driving recklessly in the student parking lot according to SRO Deputy Shorter. He says a major issue this year drivers are cutting each other off trying to get into the school. Students are even cutting off parents and parents are cutting off students leaving and entering school property. Arguments are frequently occurring and some drivers are throwing fingers.  Deputy Shorter says he is “trying to increase my presence” to solve the driving issues which could be anything from a warning to a ticket for reckless driving.
