Since the beginning of the summer, Seminole High School’s football field has been under construction; this led to rumors that SHS would have to hold their homecoming game at Osceola’s field.
The rumors were false. According to Mr. Weller, principal of SHS, “our homecoming game will be held on Seminole’s field, on September 7th, 2012.”
“However, the construction project was not completed in time for our first game to be played here [SHS field], so we are moving our Lakewood game to Lakewood High School,” said Mr. Weller. That game is the night of August 31st, 2012. For the future games Mr. Weller believes that their field will be done on time.
Osceola’s first home game is August 31st against Pinellas Park High School.
