On November 5th, Mrs. Stone’s AVID classes took a day trip to University of Tampa so that students would be able to gain a wider perspective of college life as well as what UT has to offer. The students toured the campus and attended a short presentation with a UT communications major who talked with them about courses offered at the college, what student life would be like as a UT Spartan, internship opportunities the school holds, as well as tuition and tips and tricks for applying.
