May 20^th every year is ‘Be a Millionaire Day’, at least according to some fun questionable websites like HolidayInsights.com. One can assume that this day is a holiday that is meant to be an opportunity for people to reflect on what they would do if they had a million dollars. Then folks have the opportunity to plan their future and set goals in case the unlikely event occurred.

So what would Warriors do with a million dollars? Austin, 10^th grade, said, “I would donate most of the money to a charity that is working towards finding a cure for cancer.” Another student who would use the money to help others is Mariana P., 10^th grade, who said, “I would donate the money to several charities so that all of them get a lot of money so that they can help lots of people with it.”

More specific plans came from another sophomore. Bhumi, 10^th grade, said, “If I had a million dollars, I would make a shelter for homeless people and give food and education to the unprivileged.”

While some students plan on spending a million on finding a cure, others would use it for an enjoyable journey. Zoie, 11^th grade, said, “I would save 75% of it and spend the rest on traveling around the world.”

Other students would spend the money on other categories such as real estate. Alyssa Cunningham, 10^th grade, said, “I would buy a mansion and an expensive car.” Madison Hansen, 10th grade, said, “I would buy a better car and get another dog.”
