There are two new iPhones that recently came out, and  some students at OHS have rushed to buy them, like one junior. He snagged the new iPhone 5s. “I like the iPhone 5s; this is my first iPhone, so I can’t compare it to the other iPhones. But so far I have no complaints. I like all the features on my new iPhone 5s.” Jurgis said he knows a lot of other people with iPhones. On T-mobile.com , it shows that the iPhone 5s comes in white, black, and even gold. T-mobile.com also shows that the iPhone 5c comes in candy colors such as green, blue, yellow, pink, and white.

Savanah Heideman, 11th grade, also has an iPhone. “I have an iPhone 4s. I like the iPhone 4s compared to the iPhone 4 because it has siri and she is snazzy,” she said. Savanah isn’t in a rush to get one of the new iPhones because “they aren’t much different from the iPhone 4s to me.” Savanah likes her iPhone that she has now. It has all the features that she needs such as internet, email, nice camera, iTunes, and the touch screen. “I can think of 12 people I know that have an iPhone; the biggest complaint I hear about the iPhone is that most people don’t like the new update, but that’s the only complaint I’ve heard lately.”

Caralyn Fote, 11th grade, said, “Right now I don’t have a high tech phone and I’m hoping to get one soon. I would prefer the iPhone 5s because of all the features. My favorite thing about the iPhone is the camera.” According to ipodabout.com, the iPhone 5s has the same storage capacity as last year’s iPhone 5. “This is enough to store tens of thousands of songs, dozens of apps, and hundreds of photos.” The iPhone 5c only costs $99 with a 16GB model, while the iPhone 5s costs $199 for a 16GB model. There are slightly more differences between the iPhone 5s and 5c. Such as speed, the iPhone 5s is faster than the iPhone 5c due to the different processors. The iPhone 5s and 5c both have many different features, but the iPhone 5s has a finger scanner, unlike the iPhone 5c, and in order to unlock your phone you just place your finger over the home button for it to scan your finger.
