Students pick top horror movies

                Every year the question “What’s your favorite horror movie?” is asked many times whether its Halloween, or leading up to the holiday. As the spooky holiday approaches, students are breaking out their favorite scary movies, some love an old classic while others prefer to watch something that recently came out. Out of the thousands of movies and remakes that have been made over the decades, what really is considered the top bone chilling, seat jumping, eye covering movies of all time? Below is a list of what is considered the top horror movies of all time.

Top 10 horror movies of all time

Despite the top ten horror movies of all time being listed above, some students probably have never seen or heard of those older classic versions of how horror was displayed. Below is a list of movies that make Osceola’s top five scary movie list according to students.

Even though his movie didn’t make the top horror movie lists, his favorite stays as his favorite. “My favorite movie is Silence of the Lambs,” said John-Michael Scott, 12th grade.

Despite the interesting horror movie choices, there are still students out there who refuse to watch scary movies. “Personally, I don’t like horror movies,” said Megan Gray, 12th grade. “But if I had to pick one it would be Jaws.”
