Some seniors start college right away

Summer is just a few weeks away and seniors are ready to graduate. But some students won’t be sleeping in for long; they plan on starting their college classes in June.

Kate Kaufman, 12th grade, is most definitely ready to take a break from the stress of school. “I just want to relax before school starts and say good bye to friends and family I just need my brain to relax. I’ll take about 2 months off and then go to Florida State. I want to be a VET so it will take me about 8 years, but it will be worth it.”

Tiffany Ingham, 12th grade, disagrees with Kate; Tiffany does not want to stop until she is finished. Tiffany is going to take summer classes at SPC.

Tiffany Ingham, 12th grade, said, “It’s just a good way to get started; stopping is bad. When you take a break it’s harder to get back into it. I just want to get it over with.” Tiffany wants to be in the fine arts program at SPC which might take from 4 to 6 years. But she plans to stay for 6 years.
