Drum roll please… After hundreds of entries into the math related poem contest, the winners are Kaitlin Yutzy and Michael Stoop. Kaitlin, 9th grade, won a new Casio 9860 GII Graphing Calculator (donated by Mr. Gunnin), with her math limerick.
Mr. Stewart gave me an assignment
That put me into math confinement
I could not decide
Multiply or divide
To create a poetic alignment
Michael, 11th grade, won a new calculator with his haiku titled, The Calculus Tree.
