According to Bay News 9, Pinellas County has a 70% chance of rain. According to the Weather Bug, Osceola High School has gotten 1.17 inches of rain today. Art teacher Mrs. Wallen is out today but her substitute Ms. Keller and her students are experiencing the rain indoors.
“We were watching an art movie when all of a sudden we heard Drip, Drip. Rain was quickly pouring in to the class and splashing down on to a wall- mounted outlet,” she said.
“My home boy Jon and I saved the day. Yeah, we’re heroes. Thanks!” said Kyle, 12th grade. Both seniors thought on their feet and grabbed handfuls of paper towels to catch the drip.
Plant operator Mr. Sprecher told the students he was unable to do anything about the situation until it stopped raining.
